I post a lot of tips and experience from the sales floor that I believe many of you could use to incrementally improve your game, but what I don't believe is that my way is the only way.
I consume far more sales strategy info on a daily basis than I deliver, and oftentimes the content I deliver is a regurgitation of something I read, related to a specific experience I had when I used that skill successfully.
What's in it for me? I often deliver this personal value statement to my car shoppers so that they never get the impression that I'm doing it just out of the kindness of my heart. They quickly understand that I am very aware that getting them a deal they are happy with on a vehicle they love is the only way I can make a living and support my family, and they are very aware that every action I take is hinged on doing just that as efficiently as possible. With everyone on the same page, everyone gets so much more out of the experience so I want to do that for you reading this blog.
First and foremost, I do get a lot of joy from knowing I've helped someone reach a higher level. Your stories of success using versions of the tips or operating with the mindsets I discuss really do keep me going do after day. It would be great if you would post some of those stories in the comments right on the page.
In a more tangible, fiscal sense, I am aiming to create a following of car sales professionals that I can share my tailored customer retention programs with. These programs have helped my dealerships increase sales and customer satisfaction, front-end and back-end gross profit, and inventory balance (trade-in vs. purchase.) I want to scale my skills and teach thousands of sales pros across the country instead of just with those I organically interact with here in central Indiana.
What's in it for you? The daily tips may not relate to you 9 times out of 10, but if just one day they give you a new strategy to try to close a deal, that's a great ROI on some free information and 5 to 10 minutes of your day.
I am currently working on a creating a catalog of walkaround videos that you can view when your dealership acquires a car you are unfamiliar with so that you can have a real-world idea of what your customers are going to want to hear when you present the car to them. AGAIN, ALL FREE!
Finally, any of you who take the time to personally connect with me either here on the blog, via e-mail, or via Twitter @30PlusCarGuy will receive distinct beneficial savings if you choose to invest in my Customer Retention Targeted Prospecting Program when I roll it out soon.
I appreciate all of you who have taken time to read even a single post. I doubly-appreciate anyone who has taken the time to interact with me about something they have read here, and I look forward to continuing to grow with all of you.
